Please keep that in mind if mkvmerge aborts with an error message regarding invalid '-append-to' options.Įrror: The track number 0 from the file 'audio_segment_1.mkv' cannot be appended to the track number 0 from the file 'video_segment_1.mkv'. A default mapping of 1:0:0:0 will be used instead.

When it loads up, I can't add any video file, mkv or other format. You should point to another mkvmerge executable in the options.

This situation is not normal although it is not forbidden. The interface is configured to work with an mkvmerge executable of a different version than its own (mkvmerge GUI v6.4.1 ('Omega Point') compiled on at 22:05:10.). I do have a "mmg.exe" file (short for MKV merge GUI, I believe) that was used by another program on my computer but I have an error message when I open it up that roughly says (I translated it as best as I can) : I saw that someone did this by using MKVmerge, but I'm not that good in command lines and I'm not sure I can spend the whole day searching the documentation to see how that can be achieved, so I was wondering if there were any kind of GUI for MKVmerge that would work for the latest version. I have approximately 100 files so I don't really want to do that manually.

I was wondering how to merge multiple video files I have in one big video while automatically adding chapters to the output that correspond to each file (sorry, I don't know if that's very clear).
